Which iPad Pro is best for me? 10.5 vs. 12.9 inches

This year, the line of iPad models is literally bigger than ever . The new 10.5 inch device is a big change after the 9.7 inches that have always had the iPad. Of course, we also have an iPad Pro with the size of an average MacBook, 12.9 inches.

Of course if you are in the market looking for an iPad to work, draw or for class, surely you have been looking between these two great devices . It is very difficult to choose between 10.5 and 12.9 inches, although a priori the almost 13-inch iPad looks ridiculously large.

What is the best iPad for me?

First we must bear in mind that both models are exactly identical inside. In both we find an A10X processor with a power similar to the Intel i5 of the new MacBook Pro , a battery that reaches 10 hours of continuous use, 4GB of RAM and the same camera of the iPhone 7.

To summarize, the only differences we will find between these two devices are on the screen and in the operating system . Believe me, if you are going to use the iPad in a professional way, no matter how huge the 12.9-inch version looks, it is a size that must be taken into account, since the screen of this is the size of a DinA4 sheet.

Differences Between Both iPad

As I said, we not only have to choose between two screens of different size. Both iPad has its own features in iOS that we have to keep in mind when choosing one or the other , especially when they use iOS 11.

For example, on the iPad of 12.9 inches we can find a larger keyboard and convenient to write , with a row of keys which include all the numbers separately, allowing you to choose symbols as "secondary keys." Also we will find that in this iPad we can not divide the keyboard , since it does not make much sense due to its size of screen and separation.

In addition, we can expect the iPad of 12.9 inches to have more space for more applications in split screen , because if it is not yet able to do this, surely soon.

In short, if you plan to use the iPad in a professional way, whether it's drawing or writing, it probably suits you more than 12.9 inches . On the other hand, if you think mobility is the first thing or you will use it on a campus, or you simply like the classic iPad size, the 10.5 "is your iPad.

In the end, it's up to you to decide which iPad is best for you.
