How to turn on Smart Invert on iOS 11

For some time now, a couple of years, Apple has been implementing new features in iOS so that iPhone and iPad users have more facilities to fall asleep.

The company introduced the grayscale in iOS 8 and Night Shift in iOS 9. It also introduced the reversal of colors. And now, with iOS 11, Apple has improved it by bringing the "Smart Invert" function . It's the same, yes, but with intelligent features that improve the user experience.

So Smart Invert is a kind of "Dark Mode" or "Night Mode" for iOS 11 . The function reverses the screen colors of the iPhone and / or iPad but leaves the images, videos and some other applications intact.

This way you can activate the Night Mode in iOS 11

Here are a few steps you should take if you want to set up the "Smart Invert" function on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Requires iOS 11 to work.

1. Access the iOS Settings app.

2. Go to the General section.

3. Enter the Accessibility section.

4. Then tap Display Settings.

5. Now click on the Invert Colors option.

6. Finally, activate the Intelligent Investment function.

You can also choose, of course, the classic option to invert the colors of the screen of your iPhone or your iPad. But this function will invert the colors of the images and videos, making the result a little uncomfortable to the eye.

On the other hand, from the accessibility options you can create a shortcut to the Smart Invert function so that you have a Night Mode in iOS 11. To do this, go to Settings> General> Accessibility> Quick function . Here activates the "Intelligent Color Inversion" function and every time you press the device start button three times you can have this Night Mode. Ideal for night, your eyes will thank you!
