Huawei launches at iPhone's neck and could surpass this year

With the revolution that has been formed around the new Huawei phone, the Mate 10, which we have already talked about in iPadizate in a comparison with the iPhone X , it would have been strange that the analysis firms did not review their expectations regarding the future of its rivals. Huawei is one of the great players in the mobile phone industry, and right now, its goal is to become the number 1 in sales around the world.

To do this, they have worked for years on their smartphone lines, to make it clear to the consumer, that whatever a Chinese phone does not do precisely that bad. Now, it seems that his great effort is paying off, and is that the company already threatens to take Apple's place in the next fiscal year. For many, this will sound to an impossible goal, however, the truth is that they are not very far from achieving it. In fact, it is surprising that they have not yet done so.

The challenge of Huawei is something that Apple should take seriously.

In IDC's latest sales and sales market share, Huawei maintained 11.3% of total smartphones sold in the last quarter with 38.5 million units. In the case of Apple, the market share reaches 12% with 41 million units, so there is not too much distance between them. In fact, analysts point out that this is a major threat for both Apple and Samsung, which holds the top spot.

Right now, both companies are at risk of losing their market leadership. Unless they can beat expectations, it looks like they're going to have a tough time rivaling Huawei in the next few years, and it's hard for a single phone, even the iPhone X or the Samsung Galaxy S9, to change it.

And you, do you think that Apple will manage to maintain its position?
