Jailbreak iOS 10.2.1 now available for iPhone and iPad 64-bit

While we wait with all the patience of the world to arrive the iOS 11 Jailbreak, hacker Abraham Masri has just released his Saïgon jailbreak for iOS 10.2.1 , which can be used for iOS devices with 64-bit architecture.

So far, the latest jailbreak available was that of Yalu for iOS 10 - iOS 10.2 that came out in January of this year, however with the update iOS 10.2.1, Apple rectified the vulnerabilities that allowed it. And is that, on the one hand, the jailbreak is becoming more difficult than ever and on the other, Apple is increasingly satisfying the needs of its users, so there is no longer so much interest.

As you know, it is no longer possible to downgrade to iOS 10.2.1 officially because Apple has stopped signing iOS 10.2.1 since February and you can only return to iOS 10.3 with certain devices . So remember: you can only use this Saïgon jailbreak if you are still with iOS 10.2.1 .

Devices compatible with Saïgon jailbreak iOS 10.2.1

Basically, the 64-bit:

  •     iPhone 7
  •     iPhone 7 Plus
  •     iPhone 6s Plus
  •     iPhone 6s
  •     iPhone 6 Plus
  •     Iphone 6
  •     Iphone 5s
  •     iPhone SE
  •     iPad Air 2
  •     iPad Air
  •     iPad mini 4
  •     iPad mini 3
  •     iPad mini 2
  •     iPad Pro
  •     iPod Touch 6G

How to make jailbreak with Saïgon jailbreak iOS 10.2.1

The procedure for jailbreaking with Saïgon jailbreak iOS 10.2.1 is somewhat different from other versions because the ipa file is not available, so we will need to use Xcode to create the Saïgon.ipa file from the github source and later use Cydia Impactor to install the ipa and jailbreak your device.

Once the file Saïgon.ipa has been created follow the following steps:

1) Download the .ipa file and Cydia Impactor .

2) Open Cydia Impactor and connect your device

3) Drag the Saïgon.ipa file to the Cydia Impactor window

4) Enter your Apple ID (email and password)

5) Open Settings > General > Profiles and manage the device and let it trust the new certificate.

6) Open saïgon and click on jailbreak and follow the instructions.

If there is a fault, restart and try again .

Some considerations

According to the latest comments from reddit, several users have experienced problems with the jailbreak, which is in the alpha version, so our recommendation is to wait until those bugs are skipped .

This jailbreak only serves iOS 10.2.1, so if you have a device with iOS 10.2, it will not work.

This is a semi-tethered jailbreak similar to Yalu, that is, if you turn it off, you will have to repeat this process.
