The iPhone 8 is selling worse than any model "S"

The latest sales data collected by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) suggest that the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are selling worse than any Apple "S" model.

The company has indicated that the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus models only account for 16% of all iPhone sales in the last quarter, while the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus account for 24% of sales.

It has also been mentioned that iPhone's "S" models usually have always exceeded 40% of sales after launch . Even the iPhone 7, which had a rather smaller design with respect to its predecessor.

"During the same timeframe last year, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus together totaled 43% of sales. Three years ago, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus had 46% of sales in the quarter of its launch. "

One of the main reasons for the low sales of the iPhone 8 could be due to the imminent marketing of the iPhone X. The terminal of the tenth anniversary of the signing of the bite apple will be officially launched on November 3.

Apple is doing its best to boost sales of its new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus smartphones. However, marketing is failing and another reason may simply be that consumers have grown tired of the same design year after year.

"Both the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus continue to have a high demand with a reduced price. Both accounted for 58% of sales during this quarter, much higher than the 35% of the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus in September 2016. "

The data collected from CIRP is based on a survey of 500 Apple consumers who have recently purchased a product . What do you think? Do you think the iPhone 8 sales are so bad?
