The new iPhone X will bring a surprising feature

When we thought that we were not going to have more surprises of the iPhone X we learned that this is not going to be so. The lack of the iconic start button on Apple's next terminal due to its surprising new edge-to-edge display design has raised some questions .

We were able to figure out how to do things on the iPhone X without that button, like accessing the home screen, accessing the multitasking application switcher to switch between applications or close applications, access the Control Center, Siri Notification and Apple Pay. However, it seemed that the iPhone X would not support Reachability.

In case you are new to the iPhone world, Reachability is a feature that Apple introduced for iPhone with big screens like iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and later. The goal of Reachability is to push the entire contents of the screen towards the bottom half when activated , allowing you to easily reach the corners of an application and facilitates use with one hand.

The good news is that Brazilian iOS developer Guilherme Rambo has shared a video, suggesting that Reachability will be compatible with the iPhone X. Guilherme has shared this content of Reachability working on the iPhone X simulator in the Xcode 9.1 beta that was released with iOS 11.1 beta.

Guilherme points out however that he has not been able to figure out how to use Reachability . It would be intuitive if a user could double-tap the indicator at the bottom to access Reachability.

In my case it is not something that I use a lot, but it can be very useful for anyone , especially in the larger iPhone owners. If you were worried that Apple had abandoned it, you do not have to do it, it seems that the iPhone X will have Reachability.

Any guesses on what gesture would trigger Reachability on the iPhone X? Let us know in the comments.
