The Samsung Galaxy S9 will succeed where the iPhone X has failed

It is rumored from KGI Securities that Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will come with a technology that allows the fingerprint sensor to be incorporated into the OLED screen . Something that Apple has not been able to implement on its iPhone X.

We have debated on several occasions whether Face ID was a good replacement for Touch ID , maybe the ideal would be to have both security features available. But the iPhone X will only rely on the Face ID (and the password) so that users can unlock the terminal.

Apple had many problems implementing the Touch ID under the iPhone X OLED screen of the tenth anniversary. Therefore, after probing the market, the company decided not to include the fingerprint sensor on the back of the device and simply remove the function.

To this day, we still do not know if this decision has been a success or a failure. What we do know is that the Galaxy Note 9 could achieve what the iPhone X could not .

Again, Samsung can overtake Apple

Apple was expected to be the first company to offer a fingerprint reader under the OLED screen of their devices. But the iPhone X does not have a Touch ID sensor, thus becoming the first smartphone from the iPhone 5s not to have this feature .

In fact, according to all the rumors, the company of the bite apple had planned to include the Touch ID on the iPhone X. But because of manufacturing problems it was not finally possible.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities, Samsung will use a technology that allows the OLED screen to multiply its light source for the sensor , something that would also improve battery life.

In addition, it is also speculated that Samsung includes a 3D facial recognition system as the Face ID of the iPhone X. The current Samsung system is very easy to "cheat". What do you think about all this? What do you prefer, Face ID or Touch ID?
