Is it worth the AppleCare for the iPhone X?

We should all be used to the strategies that Apple plays with regard to the warranty of our devices. In the case of the United States it is worse, since in their case they are not protected by a law similar to the European one, so it is quite reasonable to have a service like AppleCare +. However, in our case we have a limited warranty of two years on all products sold in the European Union. Does this make services like AppleCare stop making sense? Yes and no.

Being obliged to offer a two-year guarantee, it is not worth a service similar to AppleCare, at least in the sense of repairs. And it does not matter if you hire the service in Spain, because you pay the same price as the rest, since AppleCare does not lower the repair rates as if it happens in the US with AppleCare +. Here there is no coverage of the accidental damage of the iPhone, and that will not change with the iPhone X

If you hire AppleCare, do it only for the service

In my opinion, the only case in which it is worth acquiring AppleCare services is in the case of those consumers who are not too experienced in the use of a smartphone. AppleCare offers an even better service than the company already offers, and will solve all the doubts that you may have with the device. In any case, I doubt very much that nobody needed attention to use Apple's products.

In conclusion, if you are going to buy a new iPhone X this November 3, do not buy AppleCare. In the European Union, in terms of reparations, it is completely useless. Just try to take maximum care of your device, or get insurance for it, because you will not want to pay the 321.10 euros that it costs to repair the screen. You do not need to spend 70 euros to improve a good customer service.
