The iPhone X camera sweeps all ... except one

The cameras of the different iPhone models that Apple has released to the market have been the subject of many discussions. While it is true that your hardware has never been the most advanced in the market , the quality of your images is the best you will find today.

This has been demonstrated by a new analysis conducted by DxOMark . Apple's iPhone X has obtained a score of 97 points in this review, making it the second best camera in the smartphone market, one point below the best mobile camera, that of Google's Pixel 2 .

It is important to note that although the DxOMark analyzes are very reliable, the final results are established by a person. That is, these scores are based on an objective perspective under specific and variable circumstances.

iPhone X: the second best camera on the market

The maximum score of the configuration of cameras of the different smartphones of the market has taken it, as we mentioned previously, the Pixel 2 of Google . The new smartphone has obtained a score of 98 points , the highest figure to date.

On the other hand, the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus obtained 92 points and 94 points , respectively. Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 tied with the iPhone 8 Plus, with 94 points as well.

The best cameras in the market:

    Google Pixel 2: 98 points
    Apple iPhone X: 97 points
Apple iPhone 8 Plus: 94 points
Samsung Galaxy Note 8: 94 points
    Apple iPhone 8: 92 points

Although the iPhone X has been classified with the second best camera on the market, it won in the "photography" category with 101 points.

"The 12 MP dual camera sensors stay the same, including the wide-angle lens with aperture f / 1.8 and with image stabilization for the main camera, but for the second camera, there is a telephoto lens that has an aperture f / 2.4 more espacious. The front camera has also been updated, with Face ID technology for selfies enthusiasts, including a depth mapping that makes possible the Portrait mode and the bokeh simulation. "

DxO concluded that the iPhone X has a considerably better performance than the iPhone 8 Plus in its functions of zoom and bokeh effect with its telephoto lenses.

Another of the most striking features of the iPhone X is that it is capable of capturing images at 4K and 60 fps. However, he received very low scores in the video category due to textures and noise.
