According to a new leak, the 2018 iPhone will be worse

You might think that it is still too early to start hearing rumors of Apple's upcoming devices, but the truth is that it is not, and this is demonstrated by the latest reports that have reached our hands.

According to analysts, Apple could launch one of its three models next year with a metal back , instead of the glass that can be found in the current generation. Here we leave you all the details.

A metallic iPhone ... again

According to the report given by Nikkei, this new iPhone would have a 6.1-inch LCD screen , and would be the one chosen to carry the metal back. In addition, two other models would come to keep him company.

Thanks to this material we could see an iPhone in many more colors than the current ones, which we can only find in three variants for the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, and two for the iPhone X.

The iPhone X of 2018

So far, the reports tell us that by 2018 we would be seeing three iPhone terminals. The first with metal rear and a 6.1-inch LCD screen. The other two, would bring an OLED screen of 5.8 inches and 6.2 or 6.3 inches.

Nikkei has not been the first to speak of three new terminals by 2018. KGI Securities also did so at the time , so they should not be too misguided. However, Nikkei has added the metal back to the equation.

One step towards ... back?

We can not understand why Apple would return to metal with the next generation of iPhone. One of the main reasons for the change of material was wireless charging , so, would Apple be saying goodbye to this function on that iPhone model?

On the other hand, this 6.1-inch metallic iPhone would have an LCD screen with lower resolution than its competitors, so we assume that Apple would include it in more affordable land.

We do not know what is going on in the Cupertino barracks, but the creative process has already begun for the 2018 iPhone . If these rumors are true, we should evaluate how Apple will do to eliminate functions that are essential for many users today, such as wireless charging.

Would you mind if Apple eliminated the wireless charge of your iPhone? Leave us your answer in the comments!
