Gmail is updated: so spectacular looks the App for iPhone X

Since the iPhone X went out to stores, both physical and the Apple Store, we have been appreciating a process of adapting the different apps . Many of them have been slow to have a real optimization of Apple's new smartphone, others have done their homework during the summer, and those that are less, are still in a process of waiting (and "despair") for their users. And it is that doing things well takes time.

Today we have woken up with a news that we know you, and is none other than the popular Google messaging client, Gmail, has just given shape to its application for the Apple flagship . The new version of the Gmail application will allow you to take full advantage of the screen , since it eliminates the frightening black bars that were so large that before they were well present in both the top and the bottom of the application.

With this new view, you can see an additional email when viewing the main inbox, and there is more space to read and write messages . It is obvious to say that the gain in terms of cleaning the application as a general aspect is very positive.

Today's update also includes support for adding non-Google email accounts to the Google application through IMAP, meaning it accepts third-party email clients, something that Gmail users have been demanding for some time.

Google has been gradually updating their iOS applications with support for iPhone X and so far the list is completed in addition to Gmail, Google Maps and productivity applications such as Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides.
