The fault of your iPhone going slow is the iPhone X

Recently, it has been discovered how Apple slows down its devices with the passage of time in order to protect the battery of these, or rather, to avoid having to respond to the promises they always make about the duration of this. Now that users have focused on this "batterygate", another important reason may have arisen for this to happen.

The latest version of Apple's mobile operating system, iOS 11, could be another culprit that many terminals are losing the performance they had in the past. Specifically, those that do not have the latest chip designed by the company, the A11 Bionic.

This is due to the fact that the new version is designed to optimize many of the processes that it executes through the novel neuronal engine of the A11 chip, designed to improve the performance of those apps that make use of artificial intelligence. However, it seems that with the change, they have left behind the rest of users, who now experience a greater load on the CPU of their devices to compensate for not having the neural motor.

Of course, it goes without saying that if the CPU needs to devote more resources to these processes, then the general user experience suffers. The point is, this is not resolved with a battery change, it would require Apple to dedicate some time and effort to optimize it, sincerely, with the amount of problems they are having with their software, they do not have it right now.

Luckily, it seems that with the latest minor updates the thing is improving a bit . However, as you may have noticed, in certain aspects it is quite far from the levels of performance that we had previously been accustomed to. Hopefully with iOS 12 is not worse.

And you, have you noticed this drop in performance on a day-to-day basis?
