Samsung patents to copy the iPhone X

The design of the iPhone X does not leave anyone indifferent, or you like it a lot or it seems an aberration. Its upper front frame, which includes the TrueDepth camera and its sensors, creates "ears" in each corner of the terminal that have been criticized by fans and detractors.

In fact, these "ears" of the iPhone X have been a mockery (with a sublime execution, I must emphasize) in this commercial Samsung . However, interestingly, Samsung seems to have been studying a design very similar to the iPhone X. At least that is what his patents indicate.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 probably will not copy the extravagant design of the iPhone X. But that does not mean that the company is not open to this type of possibilities in the future.\

This patent shows that Samsung is looking for ways to increase the size of its screens

A new Samsung patent includes several smartphone design ideas with a screen that covers the entire front of the device, except for the front camera.

The patent was requested in July 2017 , long before the iPhone X was revealed. But it was a date filled with rumors about the design of the 10th anniversary smartphone.

Samsung proposes several solutions for the "problem" of the front camera.

The images show us two mobile phones with different ways of integrating the front camera on the screen . The design of the first image is especially similar to that of the iPhone X, and even more so to the Essential Phone .

Thus, as previously anticipated, Samsung seeks to increase the size of the screens and reduce the size of the bevels of the top and bottom. Be that as it may, the publication of this patent does not imply that the company will carry out such a design.

Finally, it is interesting to note that the patents suggest that Samsung is concerned about trying to integrate the fingerprint reader under the screen , instead of on the back. Something that I've already managed to do . What do you think about the design of the smartphones of these patents?
