That Apple buys Buddybuild is an ominous news for Android

Just yesterday the purchase by Apple of the Canadian startup Buddybuild, dedicated to the creation of tools for application developers, was confirmed, so far not only for iOS, but also for Android. However, this could change very soon with the acquisition by Cupertino.

And yesterday, the news began to circulate that Buddybuild would become part of the engineering group of Apple's Xcode , although working with some independence from its headquarters in Vancouver , although that certainly being the closure of the support for Android in the coming weeks, something that seems totally logical, but that without a doubt is a very bad news for the operating system of Google.

Undoubtedly, this is great news for iOS developers, who will be able to start using the tools they already have available in a more professional manner , which must now adapt in some cases and assume the responsibility that they will carry their own stamp. from Apple.

On March 1 will be the deadline in which Android developers can use Buddybuild, which is approaching moments of haste and tension between them , with less than three months already in sight.

Apple has not said anything about the terms of the agreement or when these Buddybuild features will begin to appear in Xcode, but it seems to be quite true that we will have more news about their plans this coming June at the Annual World Developers Conference (WWDC) from Apple, or maybe even before.
