Apple would present an iPhone SE 2 of 2GB of RAM and 4.2 "in the WWDC

A curious rumor from China suggests that Apple is planning to present the iPhone SE 2 at the WWDC conference in 2018. Most data on this rumor makes a lot of sense to the leak, but nothing is confirmed yet.

We've been seeing tens of rumors about the second-generation iPhone SE circulating on the web. We have even discovered some spectacular concepts of its design with the same style as the iPhone X.

Among the most interesting contributions of this rumor, it should be noted that Apple could officially present the iPhone SE 2 during WWDC . This event will also host the presentation of iOS 12 , macOS 10.14 and new versions of tvOS and watchOS.

Possible technical specifications of the iPhone SE 2

Apparently, the iPhone SE 2 that Apple would present in the WWDC would have a 4.2-inch screen , an A10 processor, 2 GB of RAM and would maintain the Touch ID function. On the other hand it is also worth mentioning that the second generation low-cost smartphone would come in two storage capacities: 32 GB and 128 GB .

The reason why Apple would maintain the Touch ID function instead of replacing it with face recognition Face ID would be directly related to the price of the terminal. The company must retain a good margin between its price and the characteristics it has.

"It is practically ruled out that the iPhone SE 2 has some radical change, 3D sensors and even wireless charging."

Finally, it is also remarkable that Apple can completely change the design of the iPhone SE 2 with respect to the original model . On this occasion, the low-cost smartphone could have much finer side bezels.
