How to clean the RAM of any iPhone, the best trick to accelerate its performance

If you have an iPhone 8 or an iPhone 8 Plus, you will have 2 and 3 GB of RAM respectively. A high figure for the Apple ecosystem - quite limited simply because you do not need it when optimizing hardware and software efficiently - but very short compared to the latest Android flagships .

Of course, if you keep opening apps and never turn it off, there will come a time when your device will run out of RAM , forcing you to take drastic measures like turn it off or close apps that are in the background. No drama.

Actually you do not have to do it: there is a much quicker and simple trick that will allow you to clean the RAM of the iPhone 8, but also of any other Apple model: iPhone X, iPhone 7, iPhone SE, iPhone 6s ... have the model you have, you can do it!

How to clean the RAM of your iPhone

1) Press the power button - depending on the model of your iPhone it will be on the right edge or on the upper edge - and keep it pressed until the screen that allows you to turn it off, that is, the message " Slide to turn off ", appears.

2) Press the Home button for a few seconds. You will notice a flashazo that will mean that your RAM has been cleaned.

And above all, you will notice the difference in their performance . You can see that it has been cleaned by leaving apps in the background as Safari, because when you restart them you will have to reload the data.

Of course, even if you accelerate your device, it is a procedure that spends a good amount of battery when having to load the data again. In addition, iOS manages the activity in the background quite efficiently , so it is an operation that we will do from time to time.

This trick works for any iPhone, iPad and iPod . Wait a minute, what about the iPhone X? That does not have a Home button!

If you have an iPhone X, you can also do this procedure, although you have some more steps. Let's see it:

1) We go to Settings > General > Accessibility and there we look for Assistive Touch . When activated, we will see a virtual Home button on the screen that will allow us to clean RAM as in the other models.

2) Press the off button for a few seconds until you see the " Slide to turn off " screen.

3 Touch Virtual Home button for a few seconds. When you see a flashazo and return to the main screen it will mean that your RAM has been cleaned .
