How to pass the content of your old iPhone to the new one with iTunes

Changing the iPhone is like changing your life . From an old and somewhat slow device, we move to a fast terminal, with a spectacular camera and a battery that at least reaches the night in most cases. However, starting from scratch may not be an alternative that everyone would like.

If you want to keep all the data of your old iPhone in the new one, in this article we leave you the instructions so that you carry it out satisfactorily. Remember that you will need a computer with iTunes installed.

Restore a backup on your new iPhone

When you turn on your iPhone device for the first time and see the welcome screen, follow the instructions on the screen until you reach Apps and data, the option that interests us here.

1) Tap Restore with a copy of iTunes.

2) Once you have touched this option, connect the device to your computer using the Lightning cable.

3) Find the iTunes application and open it.

4) Click on the device to select it.

5) Look for the Restore backup option that should appear on the right side of the screen.

6) Now you will have to select the backup you want.

7) If the backup copy is encrypted, enter the password when required.

8) Now wait until your device is restored.

Once you have done all these steps, your new iPhone should now have all the old data . If for some reason iTunes tells you that you need to update your iPhone to continue with the restoration, disconnect the cable from the device and continue the process of configuring the device. Once finished, update it to the latest version of iOS. Then you only have to return it to the factory data and continue with the process described in this article.

It is also recommended to leave your iPhone connected to a power outlet and your Wi-Fi connection, so that photos and data from iCloud are downloaded to the new device.

Restore a backup on a new iPhone is easier than it seems , just follow the steps here we leave.

Do you think it's a simple process? Leave us your answer in the comments!
