MWC 2018: Comparison Nokia 7 Plus vs Apple iPhone X

Nokia has just officially unveiled its new Nokia 8810, Nokia 1, Nokia 6, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphones during its conference at the 2018 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Finns have bet heavily with two high-end devices and a low-cost smartphone at a more affordable price.

Since Nokia are more than satisfied since its reinvention with the arrival on the market of its latest terminals with Android Puro , and is that they have sold more than 70 million devices in 2017. But they must still make a great leap to position themselves at the top together to the most important technology companies in the mobile sector.

In this article we will compare each and every aspect of the Nokia 7 Plus with Apple's iPhone X. Will Nokia have been able to develop a premium mid-range smartphone as powerful as the next-gen iPhone of the tenth anniversary?

On the other hand, we will also talk about the main features of the other two smartphones presented by the Finnish company at the Mobile World Congress of 2018: the Nokia 8810, the Nokia 1, the Nokia 6 and the Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Comparison - Nokia 7 Plus vs iPhone X

Obviously, we are talking about two completely different terminals. The Nokia 7 Plus is a premium mid-range smartphone, while Apple's iPhone X is a high-end device. But be careful, because Nokia has come stomping and have presented a smartphone with a spectacular design, a very juicy price and specifications that have nothing to envy the rest of mobile phones market.

Having said that, we have found a Nokia 7 Plus that offers a 6-inch IPS LCD capacitive screen with Gorilla Glass 3 technology, a resolution of 1,080 x 2,160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18: 9 . We are facing a screen slightly larger than the iPhone 5.8 inches, although its technology is not comparable to the OLED screen iPhone 10th anniversary. So in this section the iPhone X wins the game with a greater precision of colors , better white balance, more sharpness and greater contrast.

The Nokia 7 Plus has a dual 13 MP and 13 MP camera with automatic focus detection, 2x optical zoom and dual-LED technology. In this regard, the Nokia 7 Plus far exceeds the iPhone X and its dual 12 MP camera , at least at the hardware level. Remember that Nokia has always been characterized by offering very high performance cameras. On the other hand, the 16 MP front camera of the Nokia 7 Plus is also, in theory, far superior to the iPhone X that only offers 7 MP . Yes, the terminal of Apple has a point in favor thanks to the incorporation of its facial recognition sensors.

The battle between the power and the performance of the processors of both terminals will be very disputed, and we will have to wait to analyze the first reviews of the devices to define which telephone is more efficient. But all this is thanks to the fusion of software and hardware from Apple because the Nokia 7 Plus has a brutal processing capacity. The new Nokia offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and two configuration options of 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM . For its part, the iPhone X has a Bionic A11 processor with 64-bit architecture along with 3 GB of RAM .
