The Samsung Galaxy S9 + would be more powerful than the iPhone X

Since the information about Samsung's next flagship began to leak , many of us began to observe closely the movements of the Korean company in order to find out whether or not it would be a worthy rival for the latest generation of the iPhone, which It ended up being completed in November with the launch of the iPhone X. In particular, what interests us most is to know if our beloved processor, which marked so much difference, is able to keep up.

As we told you a few months ago, the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X were launched with a SoC, the A11 Bionic, which was a major jump from previous generations, especially in fields such as artificial intelligence thanks to its neuronal engine. But in the technology market, what was new may be left behind in a short time, but luckily for us, that will not happen with the Galaxy S9. Or that's what we thought until today.

A few hours ago, the results of a benchmark that supposedly ran on the hardware of a Galaxy S9 +, a phone that will be presented on the 25th of this month in the city of Barcelona, just before the MWC 2018, have been leaked. The funny thing comes when they are compared with an iPhone X, and that is, while the Apple phone has an average result of 202,496, the Samsung would have reached the figure of 265267, something absolutely brutal if true.

What happens is that, as always, a benchmark is unable to show the performance of a device on a day-to-day basis, at least in a way that can be understood by the average user, and is not able to show the optimization to the that Samsung has accustomed us in their terminals. Luckily, there is little to discover if all this remains in an impressive number, or if it will really help us to consider the sacrifice of our iPhone.

And you, will you see the Samsung presentation?
