The WhatsApp group video calls will only have 4 participants

We know more about group video calls in the WhatsApp app for iOS and Android.

Apparently, these group video calls will have a maximum limit of up to four participants . At least that is what has been discovered through a new beta version available in the Google Play Beta Program .

Version 2.18.39 of WhatsApp shows this novelty and some additional interesting functions.

Group video calls from WhatsApp

The new beta version of WhatsApp confirms again the arrival of group video calls in its iOS and Android application. In this version some clues are shown on how this feature will work, and in the images you can clearly see how there will be four participants.

On the other hand, it is also interesting that WhatsApp will not allow switching between voice calls and video calls in group video calls. So you can see in a sentence in the screenshot.

Among the configuration settings of the calls we see two options: "Add participants" and "Invite via link". Additionally, the options "Search for participants" and "Manage group administrators" appear .

The new version 2.17.443 of WhatsApp will also bring other functions such as hidden stickers icons. Apparently, WhatsApp will group the stickers so that there are some tabs next to the current one for GIFs. Although they may not be in the same section.

WhatsApp group video calls will undoubtedly be a great addition to the messaging application. Especially useful for hangouts, projects and family reunions.
