Huawei P20 Pro vs. iPhone X: Which is better?

The Chinese manufacturer Huawei is not unknown in our country, in fact it has a fantastic market share, since terminals are very well valued for their characteristics, range and features. The quota that has reached in our country at the end of 2017 is almost 27 percent, compared to the 22 that Samsung obtained . It is not to be taken as a joke, the Asians work very well.

Today we will see a device that will be released next April, in fact it is already available in reserve in our country, it is the Huawei P20 Pro and it is the top of a trident completed by the Huawei P20 and the P20 Lite . We will see how it behaves in front of the flagship of Apple, the iPhone X, a terminal that has already proven its worth and is, for some, the fiasco of recent times in Cupertino. Its sales have been irregular, good in Asia and inconspicuous in Europe and America.

The Chinese manufacturer has opted for a processor of the house, the Kirin 970 10-nanometer and reaches a frequency of 2.4 GHz , which gets excellent results, also has a Neuronal Processing Unit for Artificial Intelligence. Next to it, they accompany a generous 6 GB of RAM, and as soon as storage we have 128 GB that can be used through a microSD card.

The Apple presents the famous bionic A11 chip , which has been shown as the top of the brains . There is nothing faster right now in the benchmarks. The memory is 3GB of RAM, enough in a closed system like iOS and the capacities of 64 and 256 GB.

In Huawei bet for an impressive panel of 6.1 inches, with OLED technology and FullHD + resolution and offering 2,240 x 1,080 pixels and aspect ratio 18.7: 9, and has a very discreet notch at the top .

Apple finally incorporates, it was already something very necessary, the OLED screen with 5.8 inches with a clear vision and with aspect ratio of 19.5: 9, TrueTone giving 2436 × 1125 pixels.

The phone battery of the manufacturer of Shanghai gives 4,000 mAh, which makes it to a fantastic level , and also incorporates Qi wireless charging technology.

The iPhone X has a battery capacity of 2,716 mAh , significantly lower but very optimized for this device , it is known that in Apple they manufacture software and hardware and this compatibility makes them take advantage of what the battery offers. Wireless charging is also present, after some period of demand.

It is perhaps the section that most calls attention to this device since we do not have a dual camera, but three. It has a 40-megapixel RGB Light fusion (f / 1.8) , another monochrome 20-megapixel black and white (f / 1.6) and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens (f / 2.4). You get an incredible advantage of low light conditions or night shots. In addition to this, Huawei makes artificial intelligence work excellently when processing snapshots . In video it is capable of recording at 4K at 960 fps and 720.

In the iPhone X we have a dual camera of 12 MPX, with f / 1.8 and the telephoto lens with aperture of f / 2.4 and that have shown to be at a high level. The front camera to make selfies is 7 MPX, which is not bad, although they remain as something ridiculous compared to the 24 MPX offered by Huawei, tiny selfies !. Video recording provides up to 240 FPS at 1080.

The A11 chip manages to process and stabilize the photographs in an excellent way, although the proposal of the Asian terminal leaves us open-mouthed , although it will be interesting to see the tests that are carried out once the device is available, to be some results as promised we would be facing an iPhone camera killer .

In the Huawei we will logically find the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system , although with a personalization of the brand itself called EMUI 8.1 .

The device of the Californians comes with iOS 11, an operating system that has introduced many new features and from which an update to version 11.3 is expected soon.

The Android device is priced at 899 euros, just over US $ 1,100 and will be available from Friday 6 April in Europe. In fact, it can already be booked in some electronics chains in Spain. The launch offer includes a 360 ° camera, known as Envizion 360, of 13 mpx and 2K.

The iPhone X touches ceiling in terms of prices since the option of 64 GB costs 1159 euros, and that of 256 GB is planted in 1239 euros . Its sales have been somewhat irregular depending on the part of the world in which it was sold, there has been a division of opinions among consumers

Huawei bet very strong with this high-end terminal , its price is not exactly economic, although the benefits that offer make it to be at the top of the table in terms of leading devices. It will be an unknown if this device, given the good perspective of sales in our country by the brand, manages to break the market in its segment , although the competition is fierce and do not forget that Apple is always a safe value.

We would like you to tell us in our comments section what you think of this Huawei proposal , and that impressive triple camera that promises so much, eye that they are signed by Leica. Will it eclipse the iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy S9?
