The App Store falls for hours, what happened?

Can you imagine not being able to download, buy or update your favorite applications? What would happen if the App Store was not available? How much money would Apple lose if this happened ...? Well it happened!

The iOS App Store was down for hours. Users were not able to make apps purchases either in the iOS App Store or the Mac App Store , or in the iTunes Store. But do not confuse the App Store with the Apple Store, which was closed to update with the new iPad yesterday.

The good news is that the App Store and the iTunes Store are already working correctly . This is shown in the status of Apple's system services. The fall took place from 9:00 p.m. until 9:49 p.m.

Apple confirms the problem, but the App Store is already working properly

As indicated by the company of the bitten apple, the fall of the App Store caused some users could not make purchases or login.

"Some users have been affected. Users could not log in to multiple stores and services, or make purchases. "

From Twitter, there were many people who showed their dissatisfaction with this problem and reported the fall of the App Store and the iTunes Store.

This is the list of Apple services that fell during yesterday and that, now, have been repaired and work perfectly:

    Apple TV
    iBook Store
    iTunes Store
    iTunes U
    Mac App Store
    IOS App Store
    Volume purchase program

The company did not want to comment on what could have caused the fall of the App Store and other services. Was it due to the iWork software update that Apple presented yesterday?

Have you experienced any problems with the App Store lately? Have you been able to make purchases in the stores of apps, books and other Apple content?
