This could be the launch date for the iPad with Face ID

The latest rumors suggest that Apple could be preparing the launch of an iPad Pro with Face ID and a design very similar to the iPhone X. That is, a tablet with much finer side bevels, a notch and no start button .

Moreover, Apple could present this new iPad Pro with Face ID in the WWDC of 2018 . Although its official launch would not occur until a few weeks later.

If the rumors are true, an absolutely spectacular and very exciting WWDC conference awaits us. It should be remembered that there has also been speculation about the possible presentation of a second-generation iPhone SE with 2 GB of RAM and a 4.2-inch screen.

When will Apple's WWDC be held in 2018?

As we pointed out a couple of weeks ago, the WWDC 2018 would be held from June 4 - 8 and would take place at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose (California) , the same center where Apple presented its current line of iPad Pro during WWDC last year.

As we indicated before, the new iPad Pro 2018 could have extremely thin side bezels. On the other hand, Apple would remove its iconic start button as in the iPhone X and implement facial recognition Face ID technology.

There is speculation that this new design may be present in both a 10.5-inch iPad Pro version and the 12.9-inch version . However, the company's next-gen tablets will still not have OLED screens due to high costs, problems with panel supplies and other manufacturing and development complications.

Finally, it is important to note that the iPad Pro 2018 could have a processor even more powerful than the A11 Bionic chip . These processors would have three high-performance "Monsoon" cores and five "Mistral" energy efficiency cores.
