How to cancel a subscription to the App Store from iPhone or iPad

Subscriptions of iOS applications are great, allow users to read articles of interest, see the best series of the moment, listen to music and much more.

In addition, many of these applications offer a free trial period before paying for a subscription. And if a user likes the service, the developer will get a benefit to improve their application.

But what if you have registered to use a trial subscription and did not like the application? Canceling a subscription to the App Store is very simple, then we will explain how to do it through a series of steps.

Manage the subscription of apps on the App Store

Basically, all subscriptions follow the same mechanics in the App Store. There is no difference between your Apple Music subscription and your Netflix subscription. All of them use monthly, quarterly or annual periods and are managed from the same place.

1. Enter the iOS App Store.

2. Click on the icon of your Apple ID profile in the upper right corner.

3. Press on your name.

4. Use Touch ID or Face ID to login.

5. Access the "Subscriptions" section

Additionally, you can also manage your subscriptions from Settings> iTunes Store and App Store> Apple ID> View Apple ID .

In the subscriptions panel of the App Store you can see both your active subscriptions and your expired subscriptions. To cancel a service, follow these steps:

1. Access the subscription section by following the steps mentioned previously.

2. Click on the application or service you wish to cancel.

3. At the bottom, select the "Cancel subscription" option.

And just like that, after performing these steps your subscription will be canceled automatically at the end of the period of use. If you have any questions, we'll wait for you in the comments.
