They launch an app to monitor sleep scientifically and without wearables

SleepScore Labs today launched its first mobile application to monitor sleep without using accessories, wearables or other technological devices.

Its name is SleepScore and it is available in the iOS App Store completely free of charge .

This is how they have announced the launch of this curious application:

"At least 1,200 million people suffer from a wide variety of problems related to sleep, and approximately 60% do not understand these problems. Some use sleep monitors, many of which require the purchase of wearables and other hardware. "

How does the SleepScore application work?
As with other similar applications, SleepScore uses the iPhone's microphone to detect sound waves from the user's body. The app uses this information in its algorithms to detect how you are sleeping: awake, light sleep, deep sleep or REM phase.

Each morning, the user will receive a score between 1 - 100 points reflecting the quality of their sleep. The application offers all kinds of details and information on sleep monitoring , even has personalized recommendations, objectives, smart alarms and even comprehensive analysis. Although this last function is only available in the premium version of the application, which costs 5.99 euros per month.

"SLEEP QUALITY AFFECTS ALL FACETS OF PEOPLE'S HEALTH, AND THERE IS STILL NO EASY WAY TO MEASURE OR ACCURATELY MONITOR HOW WE SLEEP. UNTIL NOW."
