Currently Tim Cook is in Brussels, the CEO of Apple has given a talk at the 40th edition of the International Conference on Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners (ICDPPC) . He has spoken clearly and concisely about very important aspects of the private data of the users, and has declared war on this sense to other companies indirectly.

Tim Cook has not mentioned either Facebook or Google, but his words were like poisoned darts to companies that do not respect and steal private data.

Tim Cook declares war on the invasion of privacy
The CEO of Apple thinks that, today, our own personal information is being used against us with military efficiency. Our private data is being synthesized, analyzed and sold.

"TAKEN TO THE EXTREME, THIS PROCESS CREATES A DIGITAL PROFILE AND ALLOWS COMPANIES TO KNOW YOU EVEN BETTER THAN YOU KNOW YOURSELF. YOUR PROFILE IS BASED ON A LOT OF ALGORITHMS THAT OFFER AN INCREASINGLY EXTREME CONTENT, TURNING OUR HARMLESS PREFERENCES INTO SOMETHING HARMFUL. "

During the conference, Tim Cook was also talking about artificial intelligence and all the potential it could offer Apple. According to him, this technology learns about each person to work for our benefit. But he thinks that artificial intelligence should respect human rights, including privacy.

Tim praised the work of the European institutions and admitted that, from the United States, they should follow the progress of Europe.

We believe that privacy is a fundamental human right. No matter what country you live in, that right should be protected in keeping with four essential principles:
