Tim Cook talks again and attacks Google

Tim Cook , CEO of Apple, has recently participated in an interview with Axios . It was aired on Sunday on the HBO channel and made at Apple Park . In it we can see how people talk about such interesting topics as equal rights in the technology industry and the need for privacy regulations in the sector.

During the interview, Tim Cook wanted to highlight the privacy of users as a "fundamental value" for Apple . A value that goes back to the times in which smartphones had not yet become so important in our day to day.

"IT IS NOT SOMETHING THAT FITS WITH WHAT WE DO, IT IS A FUNDAMENTAL VALUE FOR US. IF YOU LOOK BACK IN TIME, WE TALKED ABOUT PRIVACY LONG BEFORE THE IPHONE, SO WE'VE ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT PRIVACY WAS FUNDAMENTAL TO OUR CIVIL LIBERTY. "

"I THINK GOOGLE'S SEARCH ENGINE IS THE BEST. LOOK WHAT WE HAVE DONE WITH THE CONTROLS WE HAVE IMPLEMENTED. WE HAVE PRIVATE WEB BROWSING, WE HAVE INTELLIGENT TRACKING PREVENTION. WHAT WE HAVE TRIED IS TO HELP OUR USERS THROUGHOUT THE COURSE OF THEIR DAY. IT IS NOT PERFECT. BUT IT HELPS A LOT. "

Google paid Apple around 3,000 million dollars in 2017 to become the default search engine on iPhone and iPad. And is that Apple's mobile devices contribute 50% of the search engine revenue .
