Apple gets fully into the business of video production



Apple has begun to sell video production servers of the company LumaForge through its means of sale. There are three servers available for film producers and video editing.

The company LumaForge manufactures servers for video production, combining its high capacity video storage systems with its own Jellyfish software.

The LumaForge servers are compatible with a large number of video production tools such as Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premier or DaVinci Resolve, thus covering all the needs of video editing professionals.

The software and servers of LumaForge are used by more than 200 companies such as Activision, Adobe, BBC, CBS Interactive, Disney, Google, NASA, Pandora, Reuters, Sony and WeWork. They are able to manage 4K content and offer RAID protection for stored files.

The servers can be connected directly to a Mac using a standard 10 gigabit cable. Once connected, the Jellyfish Desktop App for macOS application can be used to complete the configuration process.
