From artificial intelligence manager at Google to Apple vice president

A few months ago Apple hired John Giannandrea for his executive team, he was a former Google employee who was working on the development of Google Assistant , the virtual search engine assistant.

Since then John became part of the team of engineers at Apple and was in charge of the "strategy of machine learning and artificial intelligence" . Your job, basically, is to make Siri better.

Maybe the months he has been with the company have been very productive since Apple just named him vice president .

From Google to Apple vice president

In his announcement, Apple stated that Giannandrea's team would focus on the integration of machine learning products into the company's devices. The hope was to offer a better, smarter and more natural experience for users. In addition, they are working to make it easier for developers to add IA functions to iOS and Mac applications.

Now the Cupertino company has been promoted to John Giannandrea who since yesterday has the position of senior vice president of Machine Learning and AI . Tim Cook himself has been responsible for expressing the importance of this field:

" Machine learning and artificial intelligence are important for Apple's future, as they are fundamentally changing the way people interact with technology and already help our customers lead a better life. We are fortunate to have John, a leader in the artificial intelligence industry, driving our efforts in this critical area . "

It is an important promotion that has happened in just 9 months so everything indicates that your work is being reflected in important news that should come in future software updates. We hope that with iOS 13 a more intelligent Siri arrives.
