Xiaomi sells 150,000 more wearables than Apple, but what's happening?

A few weeks ago, Xiaomi became the leading company selling wearables , thus becoming the first manufacturer to outperform Apple and its smartwatch in this category.
The data, provided by IDC, now suggests that Xiaomi remains a leader in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and with an overwhelming margin compared to other companies.

In this way Xiaomi is positioned above one of the most popular brands of wearables, we talk about Fitbit , which is in second place with a few points below Xiaomi.

Xiaomi is the queen of wearables
There is no doubt that Xiaomi is a brutal steamroller for the rest of the wearables manufacturers, the data is, in fact, overwhelming. In Europe, Xiaomi has reached a total of 1.15 million units sold , securing a market share of 17.5%.
For its part, Apple has failed to reach the million units sold . The company of the bitten apple has sold 0.99 million units, obtaining a market share of 15%. Anyway, has much merit since Apple only offer different versions of Apple Watch, while the other manufacturers offer all kinds of wearable devices.

However, it is worth mentioning that much of Xiaomi's success is due to its low prices compared to the competition. Something that consumers accept with great pleasure, since in their immense majority they do not seek exclusivity, but to satisfy their most basic needs. And that is why Xiaomi is such a popular company in Spain .
Finally, we say goodbye with a devastating fact, statistics suggest that in 2022 wearables devices will reach almost 44 million units, valued at 11,000 million dollars (only in Europe, Middle East and Africa).
