This week Apple has released a new product, and surprisingly is a book dedicated to Steve Jobs . The hardback shows images of all Apple products between 1998 and 2015.
The book is focused as if it were a work of art, and is clearly destined to all collectors and fans of Apple. The book, titled "Designed by Apple in California" costs $ 200 or $ 300 depending on their size.
If you can not afford (or do not want to) spend that amount of money in a simple book, we encourage you to take a look at this video where you can see page by page its appearance, design and images.
The book only contains text, except a page dedicated to former Apple CEO Steve Jobs, written by Jony Ive page and another page describing each product.
There are 450 images in total, with multiple photographs of each of the products highlighting their design process. It starts with the 1998 iMac, and ends with the Apple Pencil 2015.
They claim from Apple has taken eight years to finish this book. As you may have noticed in the video, the quality of your materials and your photographs is excellent. But its price, for many, is a bit excessive to be a simple book.
In fact, it has not been slow to appear the first spoof video of this new book from Apple. It happened on Stephen Colbert's The Late Show.
Parody imitate, with a great sense of humor, the presentations of Apple products (including their typical words) ridiculing the product price and dropping gems like "your touch technology lets you slide your finger on each page to turn it ".
